On June 3, the founding meeting of the Space Computing Working Committee under the China Computer Industry Association, along with its first plenary session for all members, convened in Beijing. The newly established working committee has already garnered applications from more than 100 organizations, spanning diverse areas such as radiation-hardened chips, space-based computing hardware, power supply and thermal management systems, data transmission networks, constellation infrastructure, and space launch services. Representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and various other institutions were present at the meeting. They underscored the pivotal role of space computing in China's national strategic framework and urged the industry to capitalize on this timely opportunity to expedite the development of a robust and sustainable space computing ecosystem.
