According to CCTV Business, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has recently officially issued a 6G test frequency license, marking China as the first nation worldwide to secure such a qualification for 6G testing. With this approval, 6G technology research and development will shift from laboratory simulations and indoor testing to real-world scenario validations in urban and industrial environments. The 6GHz band (6425-7125MHz) boasts advantages such as extensive coverage, substantial capacity, and high reliability, catering to the requirements of 6G's integrated communication and sensing capabilities, as well as its space-air-ground integration. China has successfully concluded the first phase of 6G key technology trials, amassing over 300 core technologies, and has now embarked on the second phase of technical solution trials. Industry experts anticipate that 6G is poised for official commercialization around 2030, with large-scale deployment expected by 2035, fostering a trillion-yuan industrial market.
