Recently, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has officially sanctioned the utilization of 6G test frequencies within the 6GHz spectrum, thereby establishing China as the inaugural nation globally to authorize 6G test frequencies. This milestone signifies a pivotal transition in China's 6G research and development endeavors, shifting from theoretical exploration to tangible testing phases. Prior to this, China has successfully concluded the inaugural phase of 6G key technology trials, amassing a repository of over 300 pivotal technologies. Presently, it is embarking on the second phase, which focuses on testing technical solutions. Looking ahead, the international community will be tasked with finalizing the inaugural version of 6G standards. Industry experts foresee that 6G is poised for its official commercial debut around the year 2030.
