With the national integrated computing power network framework established by the East Data West Computing initiative, the synergy between computing power and electricity has emerged as a pivotal industrial trend for the capital market in 2026. From the activation of the first large-scale demonstration project in Zhongwei, Ningxia, to the collaborative launch of an action plan for the bidirectional enhancement of artificial intelligence and energy by four governmental departments, the computing-power and electricity integration sector has been propelled forward by both policy and industry forces. Data from Wind indicates that since May, the Wind Computing Power Theme Index has witnessed a surge of over 19%, while the Smart Grid Concept Index has climbed by more than 6%. Analysts highlight that the 'source-grid-load-storage-computing' integrated model is gaining momentum in its implementation, with three specific sub-sectors—green power operations, energy storage systems tailored for computing power, and power dispatching equipment—anticipated to experience performance growth at the forefront.
