On the 6th, our reporter learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) that MIIT has recently given the green light to Beijing Gediak Space Science and Technology Co., Ltd. to carry out the inaugural commercial trial of satellite IoT services, spanning a two-year period. Throughout this trial phase, Gediak Space Science and Technology is authorized to operate the satellite IoT business on a pilot scale. Leveraging the 'Tianqi Constellation,' the company will offer IoT connection services characterized by wide coverage, low power consumption, and high reliability. Moreover, it will enable all-weather, intelligent data collection and remote control capabilities across various sectors, including marine fisheries, energy and water resources management, as well as transportation and logistics.
