The People's Government of Chongqing Municipality has unveiled the Action Plan for Enhancing the Development Energy Level of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle (2026-2030) in Chongqing. This plan puts forward the initiative to reinforce the national integrated computing power network hub node within the Chengdu-Chongqing region. It aims to establish a core chengzaiqu (carrier zone) for the "Compute East Data in West" strategy and drive the development of local high-performance intelligent computing infrastructure.

The plan also encompasses the upgrading and expansion of the Chongqing (Xinjiang) Computing Base. It involves iterating the National (Western) Computing Power Scheduling Platform to enable flexible scheduling and unified services for a variety of heterogeneous computing resources.

Simultaneously, the plan underscores the need to enhance coordination between "Xinjiang Electricity to Chongqing" and "Xinjiang Computing to Chongqing." It promotes the direct supply of green power to data facilities, ensuring that 80% of the computing resources in newly constructed computing facilities are eco-friendly. Additionally, it accelerates the adoption of technologies such as green energy conservation and the integration of source-grid-load-storage.
