The 'Chongqing Action Plan to Elevate the Development Tier of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle (2026-2030)' has been formally unveiled. This plan sets forth a series of strategic actions aimed at fortifying and enhancing the modern infrastructure framework, while also fostering the renovation, digitalization, and intelligent transformation of traditional infrastructure. By the year 2030, concrete objectives will be established for expressways, high-grade waterways, external power transmission into Chongqing, water supply sourced from water conservancy projects, and the total length of the Sichuan-Chongqing railway network. In tandem, the plan also delineates the development of cutting-edge infrastructure, encompassing network enhancements, the promotion of novel technologies, the initiation of 6G commercialization, as well as the harnessing of industrial internet identification and parsing nodes to construct facilities like blockchain and Beidou navigation systems. Furthermore, it advances the establishment of low-altitude intelligent networked systems and intelligent computing centers.
