On April 30, Alibaba Cloud released an announcement about the price adjustment for its domain name products. Owing to a rise in costs imposed by the upstream domain name registries, the renewal and transfer-in fees for the .icu, .cyou, and .bond domain extensions will be revised to 125 yuan per year, effective from 00:00 on May 12, 2026. Additionally, with the promotional campaign for the .我爱你 (Wo Ai Ni, meaning "I Love You") domain extension coming to an end, the prices for registration, renewal, and transfer-in will return to the standard rate of 175 yuan per year.
