Phononic, a 17-year-old company specializing in semiconductor components, addresses the issue of overheating in AI data center servers. The company is leveraging market demand to seek monetization and is currently in contact with potential acquirers, negotiating a valuation of no less than $1.5 billion. Since collaborating with investment banks to evaluate development plans earlier this year, details of the transaction are still under negotiation, and the company may also choose to forgo the sale and instead pursue a new round of financing.
