The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released a notice to initiate a special program aimed at bolstering the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the provision of inclusive computing power resources. The overarching goal is to have in place, by the end of 2028, an inclusive computing power service system that boasts wide coverage, affordability, high service standards, a dynamic ecosystem, and a wealth of skilled professionals. This system is envisioned to cater to at least 10 out of the 15 industry sectors that are pertinent to SMEs. The initiative is strategically crafted to enhance public service offerings related to computing power applications for SMEs, substantially lower the entry barriers for them to tap into and leverage computing power, and furnish solid computing power backing for the specialized, sophisticated, and innovative progression of SMEs.
