The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released a notification, initiating a targeted program designed to bolster the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the provision of inclusive computing capabilities. The notification suggests refining the allocation of computing resources by guiding basic telecommunications firms, computing service providers, and other relevant entities to establish infrastructure such as edge data centers and integrated training-inference platforms, tailored to the requirements of national public service demonstration platforms for SMEs. This infrastructure will deliver localized, swift-response computing assistance. Furthermore, the initiative encourages the creation of dedicated computing pools specifically for SMEs, advocates for the adoption of standardized interface protocols, and facilitates flexible integration by computing service providers, thereby ensuring that SMEs have access to cost-effective and readily available computing resources.
