The latest report from the GSMA Think Tank predicts that by 2030, the global mobile technology and services industry will contribute USD 11.3 trillion to the global economy, accounting for approximately 8.4% of global GDP. The industry had already generated USD 7.6 trillion in economic value by 2025. It is projected that by 2030, 57% of mobile connections will be based on 5G networks, and operator revenues will increase to USD 1.36 trillion.
