At MWC26 Barcelona, Yang Chaobin, CEO of Huawei's ICT Business Group, gave a keynote address. He emphasized that the global average daily token consumption has skyrocketed by nearly 300 times in the past two years, propelling explosive growth in AI applications such as text-to-video generation and intelligent shopping. Presently, more than 30 million AI Agents are working in tandem across various sectors, including production, manufacturing, and finance. This trend not only opens up fresh opportunities for the mobile industry but also places greater demands on network capabilities. To facilitate AI multimodal end-to-cloud data interactions, networks must shift from a download-focused approach to delivering ultra-high bandwidth in both upstream and downstream directions. Furthermore, to enable real-time AI collaboration and intelligent decision-making, networks must guarantee secure, reliable, and ultra-low-latency experiences.
