Amazon announced that it will invest €33.7 billion (approximately $39.82 billion) by the end of 2035 to strengthen its cloud and data center infrastructure in Spain. This move represents Amazon's latest investment commitment aimed at profiting from the sustained demand for artificial intelligence. At the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon's cloud computing division, stated that this investment includes an additional €18 billion on top of the €15.7 billion investment announced in 2024.
