Throughout the Spring Festival period, the information and communications sector spared no effort in guaranteeing the stability of network and communication services, with communication networks across the country functioning seamlessly and without interruption. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology directed telecommunications firms to closely monitor the networks at over 13,000 transportation hubs and major tourist attractions. Based on actual demand, the capacity was enhanced by deploying more than 260,000 additional 4G and 5G base stations. Furthermore, over 21,000 critical circuits were provided for key clients, and support was ensured for more than 8,000 significant scenarios. In various regions, thorough inspections were carried out on key network nodes and vital communication infrastructure, encompassing over 840,000 communication facilities and 23.75 million kilometers of transmission trunk lines. Additionally, over 240,000 emergency support personnel and more than 49,000 emergency communication vehicles were strategically pre-positioned at crucial locations.
