Recently, the General Office of the People's Government of Guizhou Province unveiled the Three-Year Action Plan for Accelerating the Digital and Intelligent Transformation of Governance in Guizhou Province (2026–2028). This plan outlines an ambitious vision: by 2026, Guizhou aims to have in place a unified government cloud platform, a seamlessly interconnected government network, and a robust foundation for public data resources. The initiative will drive the consolidation of provincial application systems, departmental specialized networks, and mobile applications. Additionally, it will orchestrate the development of 'city brains'—intelligent urban management centers—in key cities at the prefecture (or autonomous prefecture) level, while fostering the creation of several exemplary and pioneering application scenarios that set new standards in digital governance.
