The General Office of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government has released the Construction Blueprint for the National Digital Economy Innovation and Development Pilot Zone in Sichuan Province. This blueprint advocates for a profound integration into the national integrated computing power network. It outlines a continued push to advance the development of the national hub node (Sichuan) within this network. By capitalizing on the strengths of the Tianfu Data Center Cluster, the province aims to expedite the establishment of large-scale and mega-scale data centers, alongside urban and edge data centers, thereby creating a multi-layered computing power infrastructure framework.

Furthermore, the blueprint sets its sights on optimizing and elevating general-purpose computing capabilities, bolstering intelligent computing prowess, and deepening the utilization of supercomputing resources. In addition, it proposes fostering the development of a national new-type internet exchange center and actively engaging in the construction of a technological experimental prototype field for the national integrated computing power network.
