Starlink has made an announcement stating that it will be offering free broadband services to the Venezuelan populace until February 3. This service, which is under the ownership of Elon Musk's SpaceX, is facilitated through a network of satellites orbiting in space. Based on data from Netblocks, an organization dedicated to network monitoring, certain regions in Caracas encountered an abrupt internet disruption on January 3. This outage coincided with power cuts that occurred during U.S. military activities. At present, some sections of the capital city continue to suffer from a lack of internet connectivity.
