According to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to November 2025, China’s software industry recorded a business revenue of RMB 13,977.7 billion, marking a 13.3% year-on-year increase. Total profits reached RMB 1,695.4 billion, up 6.6% from the same period last year, while software business exports amounted to USD 56.89 billion, reflecting an 8.1% year-on-year rise and marking the ninth consecutive month of positive growth. In terms of sectoral performance, revenue from software products demonstrated steady growth, information technology services maintained double-digit revenue expansion, and both information security and embedded system software revenue increased at a stable pace. Geographically, the eastern region dominated, contributing 83.4% of the national software business revenue, with the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Yangtze River Delta accounting for 25.8% and 28.5%, respectively.
