On the 20th, Sun Dong, the Secretary for Innovation, Technology, and Industry of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government, announced that the Hong Kong Park within the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Technology and Innovation Cooperation Zone is set to officially open its doors on December 22. At present, more than 60 enterprises and institutions, both domestic and from abroad, operating in sectors such as life and health sciences, microelectronics, new energy, and artificial intelligence, have finalized lease agreements with the park and are in the process of gradually relocating their operations.

On the same day, Sun Dong penned an online article, highlighting that over the past year, the HKSAR government has collaborated closely with various stakeholders to propel the park's development forward. The inaugural phase, encompassing three buildings, has been successfully completed. Furthermore, concerted efforts are underway to expedite the construction of the remaining five buildings, with the objective of achieving their phased completion starting from 2027.
