The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has unveiled the "Guidelines for Constructing High-Standard Digital Parks," aiming to set a gold standard for enterprise digital transformation. These guidelines zero in on the park's flagship industries, leveraging a comprehensive assessment indicator system tailored for the manufacturing sector's digital transformation journey. Their purpose is to steer enterprises through the digital transformation maze. They champion the creation of platforms like manufacturing digital transformation promotion centers, aiming to deepen the integration of next-generation information technology throughout the entire supply chain and boost enterprise total factor productivity. At the same time, the guidelines call for a proactive exploration of 'AI + manufacturing' applications, back enterprises in their phased approach to building smart factories, and advocate for the widespread deployment of smart manufacturing equipment, such as industrial robots, to propel intelligent upgrades in enterprise production.
