At the special press conference hosted by the National Data Bureau on October 15, Weng Yicong, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Data Bureau, announced that Shanghai is set to capitalize on its regional strengths in the pilot zone's development to foster the coordinated growth of the "Digital Yangtze River Delta" across four key fronts. Firstly, by co-creating digital industry clusters worth trillions of yuan, it aims to spur cross-regional collaborative innovation and industrial integration. Secondly, it will establish a comprehensive service framework to facilitate digital enterprises' global outreach, harnessing overseas service hubs to pool specialized resources and bolster firms in their international endeavors. Thirdly, the focus will be on achieving breakthroughs in pivotal scenarios, leveraging technologies like blockchain to deepen regional data collaboration and co-creating exemplary scenarios with Yangtze River Delta free trade zones. Lastly, a novel model for nurturing digital innovation enterprises will be introduced, enabling precise identification through the construction of a digital enterprise nurturing pool and offering tailored policy, scenario, and investment-financing support to foster the formation of the Yangtze River Delta Digital Business Alliance.
