On September 24, the 2025 China International Information and Communication Exhibition commenced at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. With the theme "A New Engine for the Integration of Digital and Physical Economies, New Momentum for an Intelligent Future," this exhibition highlighted the latest advancements in the information and communication sector, focusing on the seamless integration of digital and physical economies as well as the cultivation of new, high-quality productive forces.

Zhong Zhihong, the Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, graced the opening ceremony with his presence and delivered an insightful speech. He underscored the importance of the information and communication industry in seizing strategic opportunities to bolster the nation's journey towards becoming a technological powerhouse.

Chiyo Onoe, the Director of the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), lauded China's significant contributions to the development of global technical standards. The opening ceremony also witnessed speeches and presentations from diplomatic envoys of various countries and representatives from diverse enterprises, adding an international flair to the event.

Following the ceremony, Zhong Zhihong and his delegation embarked on a tour of the corporate booths, engaging with industry leaders and innovators. In the afternoon of the same day, the main forum of the "ICT China 2025 Series of Events" was successfully convened, where several seasoned industry insiders shared their profound insights and forward-looking perspectives.

Throughout the exhibition, a series of high-level achievement release events are scheduled to take place, showcasing the latest breakthroughs and innovations. Additionally, the "2025 BRICS Digital Economy and Trade Investment Forum" will run concurrently, fostering international collaboration and dialogue.
