The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the National Development and Reform Commission, has jointly issued the Guidelines for the High-Quality Development of Industrial Parks. These guidelines underscore the imperative to bolster the construction of modern information infrastructure. Specifically, they advocate for the accelerated deployment of network infrastructure elements, including 5G, gigabit optical networks, IPv6, and mobile IoT, within industrial parks. This initiative aims to facilitate the seamless integration of the industrial internet into these hubs.

Simultaneously, the guidelines endorse the judicious construction or efficient utilization of data storage and computing facilities, coupled with the enhancement of coordinated computing resource scheduling within parks. Moreover, they encourage eligible parks to embrace cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing, promote the widespread adoption of open-source operating systems, and establish a solid foundation for the digital and intelligent transformation of parks.
