At Huawei Connect 2025, Huawei held the Global Hybrid Cloud Digital and Intelligent Integration Summit, themed "Powered by Data & AI: Accelerating Digital and Intelligent Transformation for Governments and Enterprises." During the event, Xiao Fei, President of Huawei's Hybrid Cloud Division, introduced Huawei CloudStack Version 8.6. This latest release features eight significant upgrades across four key domains: cloud infrastructure, data and AI integration, application modernization, and unified operations and maintenance.
Yang Yougui, Senior Vice President of Huawei, highlighted that Huawei Cloud is focusing on three core elements—computing power, algorithms, and data—to build its competitive edge and create a resilient data infrastructure. Alongside the product announcement, Xiao Fei also released a comprehensive white paper on the topic.
Currently, over 5,500 government and enterprise clients, including China Energy, Postal Savings Bank of China, Dongfeng Motor, and the Hong Kong Water Supplies Department, have adopted Huawei CloudStack. Representatives from these organizations shared their real-world success stories and experiences with Huawei CloudStack at the summit.
The event also included the presentation ceremony for the 2025 Global Deep Cloud Adoption "Polaris" Award. Looking ahead, Huawei CloudStack is set to further deepen its industry engagement, empowering government and enterprise customers to more effectively build, utilize, and manage their cloud environments.
