On September 11, Wang Yubo, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and Governor of Yunnan Province, chaired a dedicated meeting focused on advancing the digital economy. He underscored the imperative of utilizing the construction of key conduits as a guiding framework to enhance the "four integrations"—namely, digital infrastructure, data regulations and standards, digital economy talent, and digital intelligence technologies—so as to forge a "Digital Twin for Asia" and unlock fresh avenues for expansion.
Simultaneously, he stressed the importance of leveraging industrial growth as a cornerstone to fortify the digital economy's core sectors, propel the establishment of digital industrial parks, broaden application scenarios, expedite the digitalization of government services, and ignite fresh impetus for transformation and upgrading.
Moreover, he highlighted the necessity of capitalizing on advantages such as green energy, refining the development milieu, and engineering novel growth engines for the economy. Kunming, endowed with a robust foundation and significant potential in nurturing the digital economy, should spearhead efforts and take the lead in driving progress across the entire province.
