The State Council Information Office convened a press conference to introduce the upcoming 4th Global Digital Trade Expo. During the event, Hangzhou Mayor Yao Gaoyuan announced that the expo is set to commence in Hangzhou on September 25, with a primary objective of fostering enterprise growth through digital trade collaboration. Presently, concerted efforts are underway to both recruit exhibitors and extend invitations to potential buyers.

The expo will spotlight five key sectors within the digital trade landscape and has unveiled procurement lists for seven specialized industrial exhibition zones, thereby facilitating enhanced cooperation. Moreover, the expo has forged collaborative ties with 53 countries (regions), 86 business associations, and professional organizations across the globe. Indonesia, serving as the expo's guest of honor country, has expressed procurement intentions amounting to nearly RMB 1 billion. Overall, the total anticipated procurement value for the expo is projected to reach an impressive RMB 30 billion.
