At the State Council Information Office press conference on August 14, Xia Bing, Deputy Director of the National Data Administration, disclosed that 25 data circulation node cities have been established across the country, encompassing key hubs like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Additionally, the data infrastructure framework has been implemented in 16 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, achieving full interconnection and interoperability by the end of July. It is anticipated that by the close of the year, the count of node cities will expand to approximately 50, encompassing 80% of provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, thereby solidifying the foundation for seamless cross-regional data circulation.
