On August 6, the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government unveiled the "Implementation Plan for the Advancement of Shanghai's Embodied Intelligence Industry." This initiative is designed to harness Shanghai's clustering strengths in autonomous intelligent computing chips, humanoid robots, and large-scale enterprises to expedite the R&D of pivotal components, such as specialized embodied intelligence chips and core motherboards. The plan underscores the need to bolster the integration of software and hardware, cultivate essential ancillary products tailored to embodied robots, and foster the establishment of R&D and manufacturing hubs in Shanghai for high-value components, including joint modules, smart sensors, and vision cameras.
