China's pioneering intelligent demonstration line for rare earth disc motors has commenced operations in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. The groundbreaking inaugural product is an ultra-thin rare earth permanent magnet axial flux motor, boasting a thickness of merely 6mm. This innovation has achieved a remarkable 60% reduction in volume and an impressive 80% decrease in weight, all while maintaining superior performance standards. This significant achievement signifies a pivotal leap in the research, development, and industrialization of high-end rare earth permanent magnet motors within China. Mass production is anticipated by the year's end, with an anticipated annual capacity of 500,000 units.
