The head of the Accreditation and Inspection Department at the State Administration for Market Regulation disclosed that in 2024, China boasted 6,025 recognized high-tech enterprises, representing 11.36% of the total, which is a remarkable 14.95 times the national average. Furthermore, the number of specialized, refined, innovative, and featured small and medium-sized enterprises recognized reached 1,500, accounting for 2.83% of the total, which is 11.32 times the national average. Notably, substantial progress has been achieved in the domestic equipment's independent innovation sector. By the end of 2024, inspection and testing institutions had equipped themselves with a total of 10.6701 million sets of equipment, with domestic equipment comprising an impressive 93% of this total—a year-on-year increase of 4.11%. This significant rise underscores a substantial enhancement in China's independent research and development capabilities for core testing equipment.
