The Beiliu 500MW/1000MWh Shared Energy Storage Power Station Project of Longyuan Power Guangxi Company has recently secured approval, marking a significant milestone. This project stands as the largest electrochemical energy storage facility approved by State Power Investment Corporation within the Guangxi region. Situated in Beiliu City, Yulin, Guangxi, the project boasts a planned installed capacity of 500MW/1000MWh and spans an area of approximately 100 acres. It entails the construction of 100 lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage units. Upon completion, the annual charging and discharging capacity is anticipated to reach 250 million kWh, significantly enhancing the utilization efficiency of new energy sources and grid operation stability, while achieving substantial emission reductions equivalent to approximately 75,000 tons of standard coal and 195,000 tons of carbon dioxide annually.
