Tesla has officially signed a contract for its inaugural grid-side energy storage project in Mainland China, with a total investment amounting to 4 billion yuan. This landmark initiative will be situated in Lingang New Area, Shanghai, and will be executed by Kangao Energy. The project will harness Tesla's advanced Megapack technology to establish a gigawatt-hour-scale, standalone energy storage power station.
