On June 10, the Russian Ministry of Finance revealed that in the first five months of 2025, oil and gas revenues for the federal budget totaled 4.24 trillion rubles (around $53 billion), marking a 14.4% decrease from the previous year. The Ministry emphasized that the primary factor behind this drop was the weakness in oil and gas prices, projecting that by the end of the year, the cumulative loss in oil and gas revenues could reach 447 billion rubles.
