Their aim is to slash power consumption by approximately half by employing a revolutionary stacked DRAM design. The ambitious goal is to finalize a prototype within two years, assess its suitability for mass production, and anticipate commercialization in the 2020s. The total investment for this pioneering project stands at 10 billion yen, with SoftBank contributing 3 billion yen and actively exploring government support.
