Samsung has announced that the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip7 will be universally equipped with its in-house Exynos 2500 chip. Initially destined for the Galaxy S25 series, the Exynos 2500 faced production challenges with low yield rates, leading Samsung to opt for the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. However, with significant improvements in the yield issue, Samsung has now decided to integrate the Exynos 2500 into its latest foldable device, the Galaxy Z Flip7. Although versions powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip will continue to be available in the Chinese market and North America, the reintroduction of the Exynos 2500 signifies a stride forward in Samsung's chip manufacturing capabilities.
