NVIDIA has released its fiscal 2026 first-quarter financial report, showcasing revenue of $44.1 billion, which surpassed expectations, yet net profit fell short of projections. Notably, the Blackwell chip excelled, contributing to a 73% year-over-year surge in data center business revenue, amounting to $39.11 billion, with the Blackwell accounting for nearly 70% of this figure. Additionally, the gaming GPU business revenue achieved a new high, reaching $3.8 billion. However, due to the ban on the H20 chip, NVIDIA incurred substantial losses in the Chinese market, leading to expectations of an $8 billion decline in overall revenue for the upcoming quarter. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that the Chinese market is pivotal to the company's success but currently faces significant challenges in accessing it.
