According to the Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau, the Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market) has witnessed a surge in equity acquisition activities over the past year, with 103 new disclosures and a cumulative transaction value exceeding RMB 32 billion. Notably, since 2025, the number of significant asset restructuring projects has hit 20, surpassing the entire tally for 2024. In May, the revised "Administrative Measures for Major Asset Restructuring of Listed Companies" streamlined review processes and enhanced payment mechanisms. Furthermore, the STAR Market has bolstered its index and product system by introducing multiple new indices and 48 exchange-traded funds (ETFs), collectively raising RMB 33.8 billion in funds.
