The U.S. Department of Energy has unveiled plans to introduce a cutting-edge supercomputer dubbed "Doudna" in 2026, harnessing advanced technologies from NVIDIA and Dell. This formidable machine, named in honor of Nobel laureate Jennifer Doudna, a pivotal figure in the discovery of CRISPR gene editing technology, will be stationed at the prestigious Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, California.
