Kang Lixing, a prominent researcher at the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has dedicated extensive efforts to the controlled synthesis, assembly, and exploration of physicochemical properties, as well as the application development, of one-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures encapsulated within carbon nanotubes. His recent accomplishments in the realm of one-dimensional materials confined within carbon nanotubes have been particularly noteworthy.
