In a bid to bolster its in-house chip research and development capabilities, Li Auto has recently recruited a seasoned executive, known by the alias Zhang Kaiyuan, who holds a Level 22 position. Reporting directly to Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Xie Yan, Zhang Kaiyuan will temporarily be part of the System Operations Department headed by Long Kaiwen. This strategic hire is expected to significantly propel Li Auto's progress in the realm of in-house chip development.
