During the Computex Taipei event, NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, addressed accusations regarding the alleged smuggling of NVIDIA AI chips to Mainland China. He firmly stated that there was no evidence to suggest that NVIDIA's AI chips, particularly the cutting-edge Grace Blackwell chips, had been illegally diverted. Huang emphasized that both NVIDIA and its customers were fully aware of the sales restrictions and exercised due diligence in adhering to them during resales. He acknowledged that while tracing individual AI chips once sold is a daunting task, the tracing of large AI servers is relatively more manageable. Furthermore, Huang reiterated his stance against trade restrictions and tariffs.
