On May 21, at the Computex 2025 conference in Taipei, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, declared the U.S. export control policy on AI chips to China a "failure." He underscored that the fundamental premises underpinning the rules for AI proliferation harbor significant shortcomings. Consequently, NVIDIA's market share in China has experienced a dramatic decline, falling from 95% at the inception of the Biden administration to 50% at present.
