Zhejiang Telecom, Zhejiang Unicom, and Huawei have collaboratively completed the groundbreaking commercial verification of 1.8GHz+2.1GHz dual-frequency 8T8R base stations, achieving a remarkable 5G single-user uplink speed exceeding 1.1Gbps. This accomplishment sets a new benchmark for 5G uplink speeds. The base stations utilized in this verification boast extensive bandwidth capabilities of 95MHz for both frequency division duplexing (FDD) uplink and downlink. By leveraging the synergy of uplink carrier aggregation and single-user multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology, the uplink network capacity of these base stations has been substantially enhanced. This significant advancement holds immense potential for applications such as live video streaming, high-definition surveillance, and remote video transmission.
