Hong Kong stocks kicked off the session with the Hang Seng Index rising 0.28% and the Hang Seng Tech Index gaining 0.22%. On its inaugural trading day, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) surged 12.55% to HK$296, having been priced at HK$263 per share. The electrical equipment sector showed robust performance. Additionally, pharmaceutical stocks strengthened, with Sansheng Pharmaceutical soaring nearly 15% and Innovent Biologics climbing over 4%.
