Rockchip is set to introduce its groundbreaking RK3688 chip, currently in the development stage, in 2026. Additionally, the company plans to release a co-processor chip this year, aiming to tackle the escalating demand for computing power and the sluggish upgrade cycle of System-on-Chips (SoCs). According to Rockchip, the year 2025 will be dedicated to the intensive research and development of the RK3688, its next-generation advanced process flagship chip. As of now, the chip remains in the R&D phase, with further details yet to be unveiled.
