CT Semiconductor, a prominent Vietnamese semiconductor company, has proudly announced the initiation of construction on its maiden independent semiconductor backend factory. This state-of-the-art facility will specialize in the crucial assembly, testing, and packaging (ATP) phases of semiconductor production. The project is slated to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2025, with ambitious plans to achieve an annual production capacity of 100 million units by 2027. Spread across a sprawling 30,000 square meters, the factory represents a total investment of approximately $100 million. CT Semiconductor anticipates a significant milestone: the local completion of the ATP process for its inaugural chip in Vietnam, targeted for September 2025.
