Apple has placed a significant order for 2-nanometer (nm) process chips with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), anticipated to generate NT$1 trillion (approximately RMB 239.7 billion) in revenue for TSMC this year. This represents a substantial year-on-year increase of over 60%. Prior projections suggested that Apple's contribution to TSMC's revenue in 2024 would amount to approximately NT$624.3 billion (roughly RMB 149.64 billion).
