NVIDIA's RTX 5060 mobile graphics card has recently debuted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, showcasing a significant performance leap. Its OpenCL benchmark scores indicate an approximately 18% improvement over its predecessor, the RTX 4060 mobile edition. The RTX 5060 was tested in two laptops with comparable configurations: one powered by an Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and the other by a Core Ultra 9 285H processor. In the i9-13900HX setup, the RTX 5060 achieved an impressive score of 109,431 on the Geekbench OpenCL test, while in the alternative configuration, it scored 102,564. By contrast, the RTX 4060 mobile edition averages a score of 93,132 on the same benchmark. This notable performance enhancement is primarily due to the increased number of CUDA cores and enhanced frequency capabilities.
