In an effort to overcome the challenges posed by high desolvation energy barriers and sluggish diffusion kinetics in zinc metal batteries, Researcher Lin Hongzhen from the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in partnership with Dr. Wang Jian from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany and Dr. Zhang Yongzheng from East China University of Science and Technology, has published a groundbreaking study titled "Suspension Electrolytes with Catalytically Enhanced Desolvation Kinetics for Low-Temperature Zinc Metal Batteries" in the prestigious international journal Advanced Materials. This article introduces an innovative approach to address these issues.
